Gail received the 2003 Best Songwriter Award for her title cut “Where Love Lives” at the CCMA awards and later Best Songwriter at the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Competition. This recording heard on country gospel radio across the United States. Featured band members on this recording include Aubrey Haynie (fiddle and mandolin), Kenny Malone (drums and percussion), Brian Sutton (guitars), Scott Sanders (dobro and steel guitars), Dennis Croutch (upright bass) and Bruce Watkins (banjo). Gail’s Father, Bob Bateman, is also featured singing “The Lonesome Road” as well.

The one original song, “Moon Over The Cumberland”, written by Gail Bliss, went to the top of the international western swing music charts upon the release of this project.

Recorded with the all star band that Gail uses on her live production of “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline”. Personally endorsed by the late Charlie Dick (widower of Patsy Cline) of the Cline estate, Gail has performed the role of Patsy Cline in countless productions across North America since 1994. In the past decade she is also director and producer of her own production of the Patsy show.
